SUPPORTING I4CI

Regional NSW – Innovation for Community Impact

WHAT IS THE I4CI PROGRAM?

The Innovation for Community Impact program (I4CI) has at its heart the desire to utilize philanthropic and government resources to address critical community issues in ways that may take a different approach, and that may have a greater impact than existing approaches. I4CI is addressing pressing and persistent social issues facing communities in ten regional NSW Local Government Areas across the Hunter New England, Mid-North and Central Coast districts.

The program aims to support innovative responses to issues including domestic and family violence, education disengagement, criminal behaviour, and unemployment. Read the I4CI Program Guidelines

WHY ‘SALLY’ SUPPORTING I4CI

Because the issues I4CI is seeking to address are familiar territory to Geraldine who has, during her long career, worked to help people in similar situations.

Through the Sally Foundation she strongly wishes to help turn lives around and believes that, by acting together, government and philanthropy can make more of a difference than either could on their own.

Sally partners with FRRR (Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal) who provide grants to help communities address these issues.

Innovation for Community Impact focuses on those living in the shadow, such as:
